Born in 1974 in Romania and came to Israel in the year 2000 to study at the Jerusalem Studio School, under the guidance of artist Israel Hershberg.
Although Hershberg’s influence as a teacher may be detected in his early works, Man has soon became an independent painter, and his work displays a distinctively unique character. Man does not paint objects, but light. In swift brush strokes he creates quick paintings of Israeli landscapes, nudes and still-lives, whose fluttering and fuzzy quality generates in them a unique state of consciousness.
Golconda Fine Art presented Victor Man’s solo exhibition in 2002.
